Job Description

A top employer in the mortgage industry is looking for an Art Director to join their team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within a strong design and content team while further enhancing the brand presence from a corporate image to a more active and engaging identity. The Art Director will play a crucial role in aligning internal and external departments, guiding the personal brands of Loan Officers, and addressing various brand needs.

Some responsibilities of the Art Director will include but are not limited to:
- Owning and leveraging the brand effectively to foster growth while maintaining alignment with brand guidelines.
- Managing a team of 5, including 3 print and digital designers and 2 digital and web designers.
- Interacting extensively with the Project Management Team on all matters involving visual identity.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to address multi-departmental branding needs, branding for large events, and new product launches.
- Assessing feedback on social media identity and determining necessary resource allocations, including managing contract agencies if needed.
- On occasion, engaging in hands-on design work, utilizing tools like Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe.

SCHEDULE:
- Monday - Friday
- Approximately 8 AM to 5 PM in the respective time zone, with occasional adjustments for meetings in different time zones.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
- This position requires a proactive approach, focusing on production alongside people management, as it is not strictly a visionary role.

COMPANY/POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- The organization has successfully transitioned its brand to be more engaging and active over the past year, with a strong emphasis on collaboration among departments and the personal branding of its Loan Officers.

This is an extremely stable and large mortgage organization! Recently, they originated $6.5 billion in new home loans, up 69% from the previous quarter. Thats compared to only a 14% increase for the industry, based on MBA estimates. This shows that their relentless focus on providing a better customer-for-life experience, more programs, tools, and technology for their loan officers, and a culture that welcomes new teams to their platform is working and increasing their market share. Additionally, their servicing portfolio grew in the quarter to more than $89 billion, and they generated net income of $37.6 million. All this growth means they have an even greater responsibility to continue delivering on their promises in the months and years ahead. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS OPPORTUNTIY!
