Job Description

We are looking for Project Engineering support to work for a leader in the utility industry. In this role you will be supporting a large territory and high volume amount of projects.

Responsibilities will include:
- Layout construction plans
- Audit work under construction for current standards, rules and regulations
- Develop project timelines and milestones
- Ordering Material to support construction jobs
- Write up clearances to support projects
- Review job packages and review material and get it identified and flag it
- Reach out to freight POC to get material corrected and fixed

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-5 years of experience as a Field Engineer
- Understand how to order material and submit AFW's (Application for work)
- Electric Distribution, Transmission or Substation experience (prefer Distribution)
- Understand how to submit a request for a Transformer Outage, Tap Line, Clearance or a non-Test. Submitting outages for electric crews to safely perform work
- Experience with Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication; adaptive and willing to grow

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Previous experience working for this company
- Experience with new business (Plus) maintenance tags, and pole replacements jobs Engineering background (electrical, mechanical, civil)
- Experience with SAP - Engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical) or CM Degree
- Experience with proprietary systems and outage management tool, understand how to submit clearances and isolate a circuit and reduce customer accounts (internal system)
