Job Description

Job Summary
Implement sales and marketing plans to meet or exceed the organization’s business goals, census targets, and financial objectives.
Qualifications / Educational Requirements
High school diploma required; two years of college preferred.
Two years of experience in healthcare marketing preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-starter with initiative.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales/marketing plans for all product and service offerings, based on market analysis and referral source targets.
Drive census development through external and internal sales and marketing programs with both existing and new accounts.
Effectively utilize both local and corporate resources to execute job responsibilities.
Identify and recommend new product/service markets and enhancements to current offerings.
Ensure administration maintains up-to-date key account records, including background, contact history, objectives, and referral trends.
Review records to ensure Account Executives are managing resources and time effectively.
Develop knowledge of relevant State, Federal, and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain current information on competitors, including pricing, census, product information, and marketing strategies.
Report progress versus goals and census development barriers to leadership.
Perform sales calls with leadership and Account Executives as needed.
Contact key physicians and other healthcare representatives regularly.
Participate in short- and long-range planning for the agency and implement measures for growth, including increasing market share through education of physicians and community/referral sources.
Promote good community relations through involvement in community events.
Perform other related and assigned duties as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Must have sufficient clarity of speech, hearing, and vision (with or without reasonable accommodation) to communicate effectively and review materials.
Manual dexterity to operate computers, phones, and related equipment.
Personal mobility and physical reflexes to safely lift, move, or maneuver as necessary for job duties.
Ability to function efficiently in an office environment and travel to various field sites as needed.
Work is performed in an office setting with moderate noise and controlled temperature; may interact with upset staff or public representatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Previous Home Health Sales experience.
Able to commute onsite to multiple locations/hospitals.

5+ years in Field Sales
