Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a self-driven individual with strong technical skills. The Stationary Engineer duties include but are not limited to:

· Operate, maintain, and repair HVACR, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and life‑safety systems.
· Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment.
· Troubleshoot systems using diagnostic tools and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams.
· Work with pneumatic and DDC controls, including calibration and basic programming adjustments.
· Document work orders, maintenance logs, and reports in maintenance software.
· Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
Ensure code compliance and communicate system status to supervisors and building staff.


Compensation: $37/hr to $42/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

· EPA Certification
· Strong HVACR and building systems operations knowledge.
· Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration circuits
· Ability to read and evaluate work orders
· Experience with mechanical/electrical tools, repair techniques, and safe work practices.
· Understanding of pneumatic and DDC controls.
· Ability to read technical plans and use diagnostic equipment.
· Basic computer proficiency for maintenance software, and documentation.
Familiarity with building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire codes.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience at a Trades school
· MET Certification
Member of Operating Engineers Local 39
