Job Description

The Senior Environmental Engineer will manage projects focused primarily on on-site characterization remediation. Your work will include preparation of remedial investigations and remedial design, feasibility studies, as well as collaboration with EA's multi-disciplined scientists, engineers, and technical specialists nationwide. Remediation projects will include abandoned mines or large groundwater plumes. Specific duties include:

* Project management.

* Engineering analysis and design.

* Preparation of reports and bid documents.

* Client interaction.

* Construction oversight.

* Business development.

Required Skills & Experience

* B.S. degree (M.S degree preferred) in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geology, or related field.

* 10-15 years of experience in technical project work and project management.

* CERCLA, site characterization remediation, and State of California regulations experience.

* Current State of California P.E. license.

* Demonstrated experience in project management, engineering design, technical writing, and proposal development.

* Experience with soil excavation projects.

* Exceptional client management and business development skills.

* Candidate must be able to work as a team member across technical disciplines, and must be able to adhere to schedules, scopes, and budgets, as well as EA's project management and quality standards.

* Ability as needed to work in both a field and office setting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including coordination with federal/state/local agencies on regulatory requirements.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience with the EPA or DOD clients strongly preferred.
