Day to Day:
The Sustainability Engineering and Long-Term Planning group is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with strong project management and communications skills to support various efforts led by the group. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities of the Sr. Civil Engineer position may include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Lead projects related to Environmental Sustainability, such as the Organics Program and Biosolids Recycling.
· Manage and support the clients NPDES permit renewal effort for the Water Resource Recovery Facility.
· Coordinate with various departments in gathering information to support technical engineering evaluations.
· Develop, manage, and assist with implementing the clients agreements with external agencies. · Provide technical assistance in developing rates and fees for the client.
· Research and gather technical information to make detailed analyses to support client programs.
· Prepare comprehensive technical reports, memos, and presentations.
· Supervise, mentor, train, and develop staff.
· Direct and review the work products of staff.
Compensation: $65.60/hr to $79.63/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
