Insight Global is seeking a Solution Architect to spearhead enhancing and scaling a critical cloud native self-service platform for a large healthcare entity. This role plays a critical role in designing and overseeing the architecture of software systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, and maintainability. This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, guiding development teams, and driving architectural decisions. This role will act as the primary contact for the overall application landscape for the program.
Additional responsibilities include:
Lead the design and development of software architecture, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and usability.
Collaborate with product and delivery team members to plan, design and build products to meet business objectives and goals. Helping make tradeoffs between technical, business and team needs.
Do code reviews, prototype, build reference code, and when required help deliver software in a collaborative fashion with development teams to ensure project timelines and goals.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, supporting their growth and understanding of development practices architecture and team development.
Consistent and high-quality codebase, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to support architectural decisions and enhance system capabilities.
Adoption of appropriate technologies that improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Identify technical risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Reduced project risks, minimized disruptions, and improved project predictability.
Documentation and Communication:
Document architectural designs, patterns, and decisions, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties.
Clear understanding of architectural principles and design rationale, facilitating collaboration and decision-making.

5+ years of cloud native experience in solution architecture
.NET/C# experience required
Hands on experience with cloud native backend tools (kubernetes, terraform, docker, etc.)
Experience with either CI/CD pipelines and/or platform engineering
Demonstrated experience taking legacy applications and modernizing how they deploy into a cloud native environment
Hands on experience with Helm
Experience with Argo CD or related GitOps Tool
Recent experience with crossplane
