Job Description
Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Epic Analyst to support the implementation of an Epic Aura integration with Natera, a leading molecular and genomic testing laboratory. This consultant will work on the Epic application side of the integration, supporting configuration, build activities, orders workflows, and end-to-end interface testing.
This role is ideal for an Epic applications analyst with experience implementing external laboratory integrations and supporting Epic orders and interoperability workflows. The consultant will partner with application, interface, and operational teams to onboard Natera through Epic Aura and may support future Aura and HL7-based integrations with additional reference laboratories.
Responsibilities
Configure and support an Epic Aura integration with Natera.
Import and configure Epic Turbo Packages as part of the onboarding process.
Perform Epic application build and configuration activities.
Configure and validate Epic orders workflows.
Support order transmission and result delivery workflows between Epic and external laboratory systems.
Execute and coordinate end-to-end interface testing.
Validate data flow, workflows, and integration functionality.
Troubleshoot application and workflow issues identified during testing.
Partner with interface, integration, and operational teams throughout implementation.
Support go-live and post-implementation stabilization activities.
Assist with future Aura and HL7 laboratory integration projects as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of Epic analyst experience within a healthcare environment.
Strong Epic application build experience.
Experience supporting clinical applications and laboratory-related workflows.
Experience implementing or supporting external laboratory integrations.
Strong understanding of Epic Orders workflows and order transmission processes.
Experience performing interface validation and testing from the Epic application side.
Experience participating in Epic interoperability or integration projects.
Ability to troubleshoot workflow, configuration, and integration issues.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous Epic Aura implementation experience.
Experience onboarding specialty, molecular, genomic, or reference laboratories.
Epic Beaker experience or exposure.
Familiarity with Epic Turbo Packages.
Understanding of HL7 integration concepts.
