Job Description

Implement technical cloud solutions, provide documentation, and training for the solutions
Continuously learn, certify, and become proficient in strategic and specific areas, including new Microsoft services, other public clouds (I.e. AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
Assist leadership with further developing its DevOps and Automation practice by mastering concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration Management, and Azure DevOps/GitHub
Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope
Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve
Work closely with project managers to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
Work closely with leadership to identify new business and services opportunities, areas for improvement, and recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure architecture, design, implementations, etc.
Proficient in automation, including two or more scripting/programming languages (PowerShell, Bash, JSON, etc.)
Well versed in traditional infrastructure concepts and services, such as: Networking, Load Balancers, DNS, Virtualization, (Hyper-V, VMWare), Active Directory, performance monitoring, and capacity planning

Required Skills & Experience

Azure cloud experience - Implement technical cloud solutions, provide documentation, and training for the solutions
Assist leadership with further developing its DevOps and Automation practice by mastering concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration Management, and Azure DevOps/GitHub
Automation and scripting/programming experience
Well versed in traditional infrastructure concepts and services, such as: Networking, Load Balancers, DNS, Virtualization, (Hyper-V, VMWare), Active Directory, performance monitoring, and capacity planning
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (masters preferred)
Two (2) or more relevant Microsoft certifications

- State of CA or public sector experience
