Job Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Product Owner for one of our holiday décor clients. This individual will have a strong operations and supply chain background and will own and evolve critical Order Management (OMS), Warehouse Management (WMS), Inventory Management (IMS), and ERP platforms. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational systems scale effectively, support business growth, and enable efficient, accurate order fulfillment.
As a senior individual contributor, this individual will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and external vendors to translate complex operational workflows into clear product requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Strategy
· Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for OMS, WMS, IMS, and ERP-related capabilities.
· Prioritize work based on operational impact, business value, technical complexity, and risk.
· Define success metrics and ensure delivered solutions drive measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Operational Partnership
· Act as the primary product partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, and Inventory teams.
· Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end operational workflows, including order lifecycle management, inventory movement, fulfillment, and returns.
· Translate operational needs and constraints into clear, actionable product requirements.
Delivery & Execution
· Write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows to support engineering delivery.
· Collaborate with Engineering to refine scope, manage dependencies, and deliver solutions on time and at quality.
· Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure consistent execution.
Systems & Integrations
· Drive enhancements and integrations across OMS, WMS, IMS, and ERP platforms.
· Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors on system configuration, customization, upgrades, and implementations.
· Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and support long-term scalability.
Stakeholder Communication
· Communicate product direction, priorities, tradeoffs, and timelines to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Align cross-functional partners and manage expectations through change and system evolution.

Required Skills & Experience
· 5–8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role supporting operational or enterprise systems.
· Direct experience working with OMS, WMS, IMS, and/or ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar).
· Prior hands-on experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Logistics, or Inventory Management strongly preferred.
· Proven ability to own complex system backlogs and deliver end-to-end product capabilities.
· Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and operational dependencies.
· Ability to partner effectively with Engineering teams without needing to code.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action.
· Clear, concise communicator able to bridge operational and technical perspectives.
Comfortable working independently while influencing cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Experience supporting ERP implementations, system migrations, or major platform upgrades.
· Experience in omnichannel, e-commerce, or multi-warehouse environments.
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a product-led organization.
