Operate and maintain Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) machines to grow semiconductor materials on substrate wafers.
Prepare substrate wafers for material growth, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling.
Monitor and control the MBE process parameters to achieve desired material properties and thicknesses.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of MBE equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop and optimize growth recipes for various semiconductor materials.
Conduct quality control tests and inspections on grown materials to ensure they meet specified standards.
Document process parameters, observations, and results accurately in logs and reports.
Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and techniques to improve material quality and production efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
