Job Description

This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and documenting copper and fiber cabling systems, as well as supporting overhead paging, 800MHz radio, and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). The technician will draft Statements of Work (SoWs), manage 811 utility requests, and ensure all installations meet NEC, fire, and building code requirements. Theyll also support IT closets, data centers, and use DCIM tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Schneider Electric StructureWare. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as the role works closely with internal teams and external vendors on infrastructure projects. This is a full-time onsite role in a healthcare environment. Ideally looking for someone who has been a part of a team that manages the infrastructure (targets are Sutter/Intel).

Compensation: $42/hr to $48/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
· Minimum 57 years of hands-on telecommunications infrastructure experience.
· Experience with fiber and copper cabling installations and use of Fluke DSX-8000 and OTDR testing tools
· Knowledge of NEC, ANSI/TIA, and BICSI standards
· Hands-on support of paging, DAS, or low-voltage systems in healthcare or similarly regulated environments
· At least two of the following certifications: BICSI Technician, BICSI Fiber, OTDR CPRI, CompTIA, or Panduit Cabling/Fiber

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience working in healthcare, data centers, or other high-compliance environments preferred.
