Job Description

The PACS Reading Workstation (IRAD) Deployment Specialist is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and support of diagnostic reading workstations used by radiologists and clinicians. This role ensures seamless integration with the PACS, RIS, and other systems to support efficient and accurate imaging workflows. The specialist works closely with IT, radiology staff, vendors, and leadership to ensure that workstations meet performance, compliance, and usability standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support or workstation deployment.
• Understanding of PACS/RIS workflows and DICOM standards.
• Experience deploying Windows-based workstations and working with enterprise deployment tools.
• Familiarity with diagnostic monitors, calibration tools, and peripheral device integration (e.g., speech recognition, foot pedals).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, especially HIPAA.
