Job Description
Provide classroom instruction in land-based operations, including Search and Rescue and Command Center Operations. Ensure high-quality training delivery and compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver instruction on Command Center missions: search and rescue, marine safety, environmental response, law enforcement, ports and waterways security, and risk management
• Manage classroom performance, discipline, and adherence to curriculum
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment and resolve disruptions
• Prepare and follow instructional materials and schedules
• Ensure compliance with training standards and quality objectives
Performance Metrics
• Achieve satisfactory ratings on course evaluations and instructor competencies
• Follow instructional guidance and maintain documentation accuracy
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with team members

Required Skills & Experience
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years as a primary classroom instructor
• Desired: 5+ years operational experience as CIC Watch Supervisor or Operations Unit Controller (USCG or equivalent)
• 3+ years in Command, Control, and Communications (C3) operations, including:
o Handling sensitive/classified materials
o Configuring voice circuits and radio operations
o SAR case management and resource coordination
o Operating C4I systems and RADAR tracking
o Producing situation reports and communication plans
• No security clearance required
