Job Description
This Company is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Validation Test Automation Engineer to join our Accessory & Multimedia Infotainment team. This role focuses on embedded software validation and test automation for camera-based systems, connected vehicle technologies, and consumer electronic devices integrated into these EV vehicles. You will work closely with cross-functional mechatronics teams to validate hardware, ensure software quality, and develop automated test frameworks that simulate real-world conditions.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep expertise in embedded systems, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and a strong working knowledge of automotive communication protocols.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks for embedded systems and connected consumer electronics (including camera and audio devices)
- Validate streaming performance, data integrity, and frame-level accuracy across multiple operating modes and transmission scenarios
- Perform system integration, connectivity, and functional testing across vehicle platforms, including Bluetooth, IoT, and network-based features
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts (Python) while supporting manual test efforts and broader validation teams
- Work with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UDS) and support embedded software validation in Linux-based environments
- Test low-voltage battery systems and ensure seamless integration of hardware, firmware, and software components
- Support mechatronics validation across hardware, software, and system execution layers, including infotainment and modular accessory systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing and engineering teams to support end-to-end system validation
- Monitor, analyze, and report testing metrics using tools like Grafana dashboards
