Our client is seeking a Director of Tax to lead the Tax organization. In this role, you will lead a team of 8 direct reports and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive business growth. Your primary focus will be on strategic initiatives, leveraging your expertise to optimize tax-related processes within the AI space. While hands-on tax work is not required, you will work closely with the product team to implement automation solutions, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Your goal will be to lead the Tax team and grow the tax division while working cross-functionally with other groups. This company specializes in AI software, and you would be working with the product team to automate tax-related processes within the AI space.

* 8 to 12 years of experience in Tax working at a consulting firm and or the Big 4
o 3+ years of experience managing a tax team
* Experience working at a start-up or small to medium size company
* Experience working cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams to increase Tax Revenue
* Experience growing a Tax division and growing client base
