Job Description
One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard an Access Control Technician to support the daily operations, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of campus access control systems. This individual will be responsible for responding to access requests, installing and configuring lock hardware, and supporting ongoing initiatives to migrate and upgrade access control infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Persona Campus 1000 (offline) and a strong background in access control systems, hardware installation, and troubleshooting. Candidates with experience in systems such as Persona Campus Online, Genetec, Blackboard Transact, or similar physical security platforms are highly encouraged to apply. This a 3 month contract and will be onsite 5 days a week in Orange, CA.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience with Persona Campus 1000 (offline) (most critical requirement)
4+ years of experience supporting access control systems
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Experience installing and configuring electronic lock hardware
Understanding of networking fundamentals and how they relate to access control systems
Ability to diagnose and resolve access issues, lock failures, and system connectivity problems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in a university or higher education environment
Project management or project coordination experience
Experience with Persona Campus Online, Genetec, Blackboard Transact, or similar access control platforms
