Job Description

Day to Day:
Evergreen, Insight Global’s Manage Service Division is partnering with one of the largest utility companies to help support the Transmission Line Asset Management team. We are looking for Project Controls Analyst to support in Transmission Line Asset Strategic Implementation and work closely with the Implementation Engineers and Project Managers to ensure implementation of right scope on time and on budget. You will assist with managing and monitoring project timelines, ensuring on time and scope completion, keeping track of budgets, facilitating meetings and coordinating with different teams. You’ll be responsible for supporting operations and leadership in schedule development using Primavera P6, internal workload management, and will also be responsible for cost plan development and analysis. You will also assist with Data Requests that come to the team related to the projects. The successful candidate should be comfortable working on multiple projects at once and have a successful background supporting project management teams.

• Schedule Development and Analysis:
o In coordination with Project manager, and project team, develop resource and cost loaded project baseline schedule and forecast
o Create, maintain, and update construction schedules in Primavera P6
o Document, monitor, and communicate project milestone, and risks with appropriate stakeholders
o Prepare and maintain companywide labor resource schedule and provide insights into capacity and demand forecast

• Cost Plan Development and Analysis:
o Create, maintain, and update monthly project forecast budgets
o Prepare various cost to complete and field production reports. Prepare project performance analysis, cost, and schedule status reports.
o Prepare and review project budget with project managers in Heavy Bid, and Heavy Job software
o Assist project managers in preparing and maintain cost to complete in Heavy Job and recommend corrective action when forecast exceed approved budget
o Input data into various programs and prepare various cost and forecasting reports
o Provide project manager with monthly report of project costs and/or schedule information including variance analysis according to an agreed upon level of detail and prioritization.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
• Bachelors of Science Degree in GIS, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or similar
• 3+ years of PCA experience
• 2+ year of utility industry experience
• Demonstrated heightened attention to detail
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6
• Cost analysis and financials experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio etc.)
