Grievance & Labor Relations
• Serve as the first point of contact for union grievance intake; triage, investigate, document, and track cases from filing through resolution.
• Lead discussion and resolution of grievance cases with unions and Lead fact-finding
• Draft employer responses, settlement agreements, and case summaries; prepare exhibits and witness lists.
• Maintain grievance logs, metrics, and trend analyses; brief leadership on hotspots and systemic issues to drive prevention.
CBA Compliance & Union Partnership
• Interpret and apply CBA provisions (wage, scheduling, seniority, overtime, job bidding, leaves, safety) and relevant policies.
• Advise on policy application, leaves and accommodations, and corrective action; partner with Legal as appropriate.
• Support recommendations resulting from substantiated investigations involving conduct, harassment, attendance, work performance or safety, coordinating with HRBP, Safety, and Legal.
Analytics, Governance, and Enablement
• Support case management tooling and documentation standards; ensure confidentiality and non-retaliation practices.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7–10+ years in labor relations and HR within a unionized environment, with hands-on grievance handling experience (intake → investigation → employer response → settlement/arbitration).
• Demonstrated expertise interpreting collective bargaining agreements and advising leaders on application.
• Strong command of relevant employment and labor laws (e.g., NLRA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO) and investigatory best practices.
• Exceptional writing skills (responses, summaries, settlement language) and confident facilitation with union stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with rigor, discretion, and fair-minded judgment.
