Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in SQL performance tuning and Oracle database optimization to join our Reporting Instance (RI) team on a contract basis.
This role will play a critical part in the Self-Managed Hosting (SMH) initiative, working closely with RI and Infrastructure teams to set up new environments, validate end-to-end data flows, and ensure high-performing, scalable data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with a focus on performance tuning
Proven experience in query optimization, including execution plan analysis and indexing strategies
Hands-on experience designing and tuning materialized views (refresh strategies, performance impact, dependencies)
Experience working with large-scale datasets and high-volume data environments
Solid understanding of ETL pipelines and data validation techniques
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex data environments
