Job Description
An advertising services company is looking for a senior systems engineer. This individual will assist with planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and operation of the IT department and network. These activities include network administration and monitoring, technology governance, hardware and software procurement and deployment, information security, vendor management, service delivery management, user and entitlement management, technical documentation, and the administration and maintenance of all applications and systems under the control of the IT department. *This candidate must be comfortable working EST hours and with commuting onsite to the Richmond Hill office once per month*

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
7 years as a systems engineer with cloud and on-premise infrastructure support.
Advanced support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and desktops
Expert in Azure (virtual desktops, host pools, VMs, resource groups, tags, Webapps, websites as a service).
Intermediate in Microsoft products (Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows, IIS).
Intermediate networking (routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, email, certificates, encryption, HTTP, SSH, FTP, PGP, TLS).
Intermediate in network/datacenter hardware (servers, battery backups, RAID, SAN/NAS, cabling, KVM/DRAC).
Intermediate in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Flow).
Intermediate in databases, Linux, LAMP stack, Plesk, cPanel.
