Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to sit onsite at an Automotive client in Newark, CA. You will be conducting electrical level testing for end of line testing for charging systems of a new electric vehicle. You will also conduct planning, analysis, and reporting, design custom test fixtures, document and communicate results clearly, while partnering with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve root causes.
(This role can pay $60-65 depending on years of experience).

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience as an electrical engineer in a lab environment
-Experience conducting and executing testing from early stage to production stage for End-of-Line in automotive applications.
-Hands-on experience using lab equipment (AC grid simulator, DC power supply, oscilloscope, etc.)
-Hands-on experience with automotive tester equipment.
-Prepare and procure the items for station readiness for reflash and test equipment.
-Bachelors degree in Engineering
-Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with automotive tester equipment.
-2 years hands-on in using the use of lab equipment (AC grid simulator, DC power supply, oscilloscope, etc.)
-Low/High voltage experience
-Experience debugging/troubleshooting during testing and validation phases

-Prior automotive experience
