Job Description
We are looking for a strong TPM (networking) to join our Network Planning and Engineering team. This is a chance to join a growing organization for a large scale ISP company. This role focuses on network related projects to support, network expansion, market growth, network optimization/upgrades, new product introductions, network security and process initiatives. We are looking for a strong TPM to help lead our technically complex project and network optimization efforts.
Job Responsibilities (Max 5 bullet points):
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between internal Google Fiber NetEng team and our wider enterprise level teams to support network projects and new production introductions. Lead the deployment of network projects by coordinating with key Operations stakeholders and Network Engineering Leads, while balancing risks to our network against required project timelines.
-Develop and maintain organizational roadmap and delivery calendar for network projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
-In cooperation with the lead engineers, create the LOE and project plan for each initiative.
-Apply Project Management tools to ensure critical building blocks such as project scope, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risks, and updates are kept up to date.
-Tracking the weekly project execution status and flag on the issues and risks.
-Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to all key stakeholders and Network Engineering Leads.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of technical program management experience managing projects involving multiple teams/stakeholders (working within Telecom/ISP)
Experience in the following:
- Knowledge of fundamental networking technologies and protocols (BGP, EVPN, MPLS, IPSec, GRE, routing protocols, DNS, RADIUS, 802.1x).
- Knowledge of configuring data center and service provider routers, switches, firewalls
- Experience in delivery of multi-vendor networks across various platforms and technologies. Collaborate with other engineers to design, build and turnover successful deployments to operations.
- Experience with metrics, forecasting, planning, and developing organizational roadmaps and direction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals locally and globally across multiple disciplines.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-PMI PMP certified
-Experience with project management and ticketing systems/tools, including Jira and ServiceNow.
-Experience with PON and Optical Network Technologies
-Experience with Wireless Technologies
-Experience in Telecom/High Tech industry in program management or technical roles.
