Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire an Aircraft Structural Design Consultant in a remote capacity to support an aerospace engineering services organization on an aircraft modification program for approximately 400 hours with the opportunity to extend. This individual will be responsible for designing and modifying airframe structures using Siemens NX or CATIA, including frames, fittings, attachments, pressure bulkheads, and other aircraft structural components. They will create production-ready 3D models, STEP files, and detailed manufacturing drawings while supporting aircraft installation and integration efforts. The engineer will collaborate with engineering and CAD teams to develop structural solutions for certified aircraft modifications and provide documentation to support manufacturing and certification requirements. Occasional travel to Fort Worth, TX may be required near the end of the project. Compensation ranges from $45/hr - $60/hr based on experience, skills, and location.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
