UCPath is the centralized Shared Services Center serving all University of California campuses, medical centers, and national laboratories. We manage a wide range of critical administrative functions, including Human Resources transactions, Benefits administration, Payroll, Finance/Accounting, and General Ledger support, for over 270,000 UC employees.
We administer two payroll cycles—bi-weekly and monthly—across a diverse employee population that includes Faculty, Undergraduate and Graduate Students, Postdoctoral Scholars, Non-Resident Aliens, Medical Residents, Administrators, and more.

Required Skills & Experience
This position is responsible for supporting either On-Cycle Payroll Processing or Final Pay Processing within the UCPath Center. Key responsibilities include:
• Executing payroll processes within the designated pay cycle (On-Cycle and/or Final Pay).
• Auditing and validating payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• For Final Pay, performing detailed analysis and calculations of final wages, including accrued vacation and other relevant payouts.
• Ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery in accordance with UC policies and relevant labor regulations.
This role may occasionally require availability outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, to support critical payroll deadlines.
