Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Scrum Leader to join Apply Digital's team and guide Agile delivery for our clients, ensuring high ROI and operational excellence. The Scrum Leader role sits within the Project Management team at Apply Digital and will be contracted to a major sports entertainment client for the first 12–18 months of their employment. This role will focus on supporting the Web Team in delivering fan-facing digital experiences across a high-traffic platform.
You will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching cross-functional teams, removing blockers, and ensuring delivery aligns with business goals. Your duties will include sprint planning, backlog refinement, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement of team processes and velocity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Champion Agile delivery practices and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability across client engagements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure backlog items are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business value.
• Support the creation and maintenance of delivery roadmaps and sprint goals with input from executive stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements (business, UX, design, technical) are clearly communicated and understood by all team members.
• Track team progress using Agile metrics and analytics tools, and provide insights to improve delivery outcomes.
• Proactively identify and remove impediments to team progress and delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and implementing actionable feedback.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of how to drive ROI through Agile delivery, balancing constraints and using consultative skills to guide teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

REQUIREMENTS:
• 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or similar role in digital delivery.
• Experience leading several scrum squads
- Experience with one of the following: Working on a Flagship website, experience working for an entertainment or media company, experience within the sports space.
• Ability to translate business and user needs into actionable sprint plans and backlog items.
• Experience using Agile metrics and analytics to inform team performance and delivery decisions.
• Proficiency with backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile roadmapping.
• Portfolio of digital projects delivered using Agile methodologies, with clear articulation of business impact and user value.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PLUSSES:
• Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and GitHub.
• Experience working on a flagship website
• Demonstrated experience using Contentful or other headless CMS platforms.
• Experience in the sports industry
• Prior consulting or agency experience.
