Project responsibility as part of the Whiting-Turner Site Team
Daily communication with lead manager regarding schedule issues and status
Managing less experienced schedulers or engineers involved in the scheduling process
Speaking daily with the field and informing them of key upcoming milestones
Actively pursuing the WT team members for key schedule dates and progress
Attending subcontractor, team and Owner (when appropriate) meetings
Walking the site and assessing progress (confirming data provided by the field)
Entering data received from WT team members (or from independent site walks)
Preparing a variety of outputs from Primavera (Gantt, Resource, Tabular exports to Spreadsheets) and Spreadsheets
Note, outputs could include invoice back-up from P6 for cost-loaded schedules
Change Order incorporation in the schedule (other than fragnet analysis) is included to prepare a complete invoice
Responsible for multiple projects
Clear understanding of milestones and deliverables for each project
Constant communication with the lead manager for each project
Receiving and inputting schedule information from the field
As required, walking the site and assessing progress (confirming data provided by the field)
Preparing a variety of outputs from Primavera (Gantt, Resource, Tabular exports to Spreadsheets) and Spreadsheets
Additional responsibilities
Answering Primavera and general schedule questions from the WT Team
Assist the Director of Scheduling with managing P6 access rights and EPS node development
Mining data from as-built schedule for historical metrics
$35-45/hour

Required Skills & Experience
Education
Associate’s degree or equivalent combination education/experience
Qualifications
3-10 years’ experience working as a scheduler
Proficient in Primavera P6. Competency working with various technologies and software including Google or Microsoft products (video conferencing, spreadsheets, slide decks)
Expertise in schedule development including manhour / dollar / quantity loading
Preparing and managing the schedule updating process for the project team
Experience interfacing and developing alongside the project team construction durations and sequences
Analyzing schedule updates and informing the project team regarding current schedule status and forecasts
Developing, inserting, analyzing schedule fragnets. Informing project team regarding schedule impact.
Understanding SPI / CPI
