Insight Global is looking for a Construction Safety Compliance Manager in Los Angeles. They will provide district-wide oversight of safety compliance across multiple active construction sites supporting a higher education client. Day to day, they will ensure that all construction activities adhere to OSHA regulations, Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) requirements, and Build LACCD safety protocols. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in commercial construction safety, particularly in educational environments, and possess strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. The rate ranges from $45-50/hr.

- 7-10 years of commercial construction experience in the U.S. with a GC
- 5+ years of experience in California with a contractor or major subcontractor
- Background in demolition, renovation, and new construction projects
- Experience working on OCIP programs and hazardous materials abatement/remediation
- Current certification as an SMS (safety management specialist), CHST (construction health and safety technician), or CSMC (certified safety manager construction)
- Strong experience managing field construction teams across multiple sites
- Well-versed in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other construction software
- Skilled in managing and reporting safety incidents in compliance with OSHA and Owner requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Safety Engineering, or a related field
- Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
- Current OSHA 500 (Trainer in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry)
- Other safety/health certifications
