The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a dedicated EH&S Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Key responsibilities include:
Perform regular job site inspections to identify, document and recommend mitigation of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions and verify corrective actions have been completed.
Perform incidents investigations to include interviews, data compilation, photographs and completing proper documentation.
Experience working on large projects in excess $10M range or higher.
An in-depth knowledge of OSHA Regulations
The preceding experience and capabilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the needs of the site and safety/field management varying by location, within the business unit.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite and has knowledge of or can easily become proficient in software programs used by the project team (e.g., Touchplan, Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, etc.)
PAY RATE $50-70/hr

Bachelor's Degree in an Environmental Health and Safety Related field or 5+ years acting in a Safety Manager's role
Recognized Safety Professional Certification (Examples)
BCSP (CSP, CHST, ASP, GSP)
5+ years construction site safety management experience
Completion of OSHA 500 and 1st Aid/CPR/AED training
Experience working on an airport construction project
