Job Description

The Research Technician will play a key role in supporting ongoing research projects and maintaining day-to-day lab operations. This position is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and advanced in vitro modeling systems.
Responsibilities
· Culture, expand, differentiate, and cryopreserve human stem cells and primary cells
· Maintain and monitor cell culture systems using aseptic technique
· Support development and use of micro physiological (organ-on-chip) systems
· Assist with experimental setup, data collection, and basic data management
· Maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., incubators, biosafety cabinets)
· Manage inventory and order lab supplies
· Document protocols and maintain organized lab records
· Assist with onboarding and training of new lab members

Pay Rate: $22-29

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in biology, bioengineering, or a related field
· 6 months working experience: with aseptic technique and cell culture
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ability to train others
Strong communication

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience with human stem cell or primary cell culture (advanced cell culture)
· Familiarity with flow cytometry, microscopy, or imaging techniques - specialized techniques
· Experience with microfluidics or device fabrication
Interest in cardiovascular biology or regenerative medicine
