Job Description

An employer is looking for an AutoCAD Plant 3D Administrator to join our client's Gas Engineering Design & Drafting team. This individual will utilize AutoCAD Plant 3D design models in accordance with project specifications. You will join a team of 3 other Admins who collaborate with engineering teams to understand and implement design requirements for gas pipelines. You will manage equipment creation as well as 3D configuration maintenance and upkeep support. You will also be tasked with helping to condense the lists of data in excel, research and put specs into AutoCAD Plant 3D. The organization is working to get their software up to date and clear out a lot of pending tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3 years of experience as a proven designer working with a focus on AutoCAD Plant 3D

- Strong Administrative experience within AutoCAD Plant 3D (Maintaining and updating the software, Project set up, managing project folders and collaboration projects)

- In-depth knowledge of Plant 3D customization and experience with SQL databases

- Must be able to create models and drawings from beginning to end

- 2+ years experience working within oil and gas

- Understands industry standards and regulations related to oil & gas design

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience using Bluebeam

- AVEVA
