Job Description

Insight Global’s client, an internationally recognized Teaching and Therapeutic Community, is seeking a Regional People Operations Business Partner to lead end‑to‑end People Operations for a large, multi‑site client group. This is a hands‑on, execution‑heavy HRBP role designed for a former Director‑level HR professional who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and enjoys building structure where systems are still evolving.

This role owns the full employee lifecycle for approximately 500 employees, balancing strategic partnership with deep operational involvement. The ideal candidate is a builder who can stand up scalable People Operations infrastructure while remaining highly responsive to day‑to‑day employee and leader needs.

You will partner closely with Business Operations, Finance, Legal, Facilities, and Regional Leadership while leading and developing a People Operations team of 4–5 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary People Operations Business Partner for a multi‑site client group of approximately 500 employees, providing hands‑on support across the full employee lifecycle.
Build and scale the regional People Operations function from the ground up, establishing foundational processes, systems, and team structure while delivering immediate, hands‑on operational support to the business.
Lead core People Operations programs including:
Employee relations
Full‑cycle recruiting
Onboarding and offboarding
Benefits administration
Leave management (LOA / ADA / FMLA)
Workers’ Compensation
Manage, mentor, and develop a high‑performing People Operations team (4–5 direct reports) by setting clear goals, coaching for growth, and driving consistent execution and service excellence.
Design and implement scalable People Operations processes that optimize workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and translate business objectives into effective people strategies and operational solutions.
Deliver fast operational wins, establishing clear priorities in the first 1–2 weeks and implementing measurable improvements within the first 2–4 weeks.
Operate comfortably in the weeds, ensuring employee issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly, with strong follow‑through and closed‑loop communication.
Use data and metrics to guide decision‑making and continuously improve outcomes related to:
Turnover
Time‑to‑hire
Benefits utilization
LOA trends
Workers’ Compensation cases
Overall employee experience
Build and maintain strong cross‑functional partnerships with Business Operations, Finance, Legal, Facilities, and Regional Leaders to ensure alignment and seamless execution of People Operations initiatives.
Handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, providing sound guidance to leaders while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and consistency.
