Job Description
Day to day Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation, construction and upgrade of low-voltage IT systems included but not limited to local area networks, wireless networks, VoIP systems, IP Public Address/Intercom and IP Video Camera systems in large campus/school or government environments.
- Create, review and monitor project schedules.
- Review and approve statements of work (SOW), project designs and Bills of Material (BOM).
- Manage and coordinate project resources.
- Gather and analyze data to assist in the creation of project budgets.
- Prepare and review time management plans and schedules and prepare recovery schedules to meet contract requirements.
- Prepare project plans and reports regarding progress, issues and resolutions.
- Prepares clear and concise reports.
- Formulating and expressing ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally.
- Setting priorities and successfully completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Related tasks:
○ Conduct site visits and meetings with customers and stakeholders
○ Read and interpret design documentation, plans and specifications.
○ Collect, analyze and interpret statistical and budgetary information.
○ Tracks and maintains project expenditures and job tickets.
○ Prepare critical path schedules. o Generate e-mails of status completions
Maintain effective relationships with District personnel and other organizations.
A California Driver’s license, use of a car.

Required Skills & Experience
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience managing the installation, construction and upgrade of low-voltage IT systems included but not limited to local area networks, wireless networks, VoIP systems, IP Public Address/Intercom and IP Video Camera systems in large campus/school or government environments.
-Must have experience managing project lifecycles from Vendor Selection (bidding, BOM, SOW, PO), Installation/Deployment (scheduling), QA (scheduling testing), and Closeout (submitting a formal closeout package)
- Graduation form a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Candidates must reside within 30 miles of Los Angeles at the time of hiring.
