Job Description

* Answer telephone calls from participants requesting information on retirement, accrued benefits, possible death benefits, withdrawal benefits and explanation of Plan rules.

* Schedule meetings and phone call follow ups between Pension Administrators and participants.

* Meet with Pension team regularly to follow up on participant communication.

* Research and draft written correspondence regarding pension benefits (e.g., Plan Value Letters, Benefit Confirmation Letters, etc.)

* Review (retirement/post-retirement/death) applications for completeness and contact participant/beneficiary if information is missing.

* Assist Pension team to coordinate with other departments as necessary.

* Coordinate with Authenticity Coordinator and Pension Manager to determine effect of adjustment of contributions on pension benefits.

* Assist reconciling reports as directed.

* Prepare documents for scanning.

* Review and reconcile 1099-R reports.

* Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is required.

* Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor.

* Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.

* Perform other duties as assigned.
