Job Description

The Strategic Financial Analyst will partner closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making across non‑revenue‑generating business units. This role blends financial analysis, FP&A, and strategic thinking to evaluate business performance, inform long‑term planning, and develop data‑driven recommendations that supports operational and strategic objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a related analytical role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to or supporting senior leadership.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in team‑based environments while also operating independently when needed.
Strong project and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Background in Accounting or experience working closely with accounting teams.
• Prior experience within a large investment management, asset management, or financial services firm.
• Experience building dashboards, financial reports, or data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Basic to intermediate coding or data manipulation skills (e.g., SQL, Python, or advanced Excel).
• Exposure to cost management, operational finance, or enterprise‑wide strategic initiatives.
