Job Description

An employer is looking for a Customer Service Representative in the Los Angeles area. This individual will be responsible for identifying candidates that qualify for a specific financial assistance program. They will create their profiles within Epic, make adjustments to their accounts, send letters from the portal as needed, etc. This person must have a strong understanding of the Revenue Cycle process with experience in financial assistance and/or payer relations getting patients set up on payment plans. This is a fully remote position - must have strong wifi and a quiet workspace at home. The shift is 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday for a 3 month contract with potential extensions.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years experience of customer service within healthcare

-3+ years experience within revenue cycle/financial assistance/payer relations

-EMR experience

-High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience with Epic Software
