Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Architect to serve as the security design authority across enterprise cloud, identity, application, infrastructure, and data platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring security is embedded into technology initiatives from the earliest stages of design through implementation.
The Cybersecurity Architect will partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, application development, data, and cloud teams to review solution architectures, challenge insecure design patterns, conduct threat modeling, define security standards, and provide risk-based guidance that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Security technologies, with strong experience designing secure cloud-native and hybrid environments using Zero Trust principles. This role emphasizes security architecture, governance, design reviews, and control strategy rather than day-to-day operational administration of security tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the cybersecurity architecture lead for enterprise technology initiatives across cloud, identity, applications, infrastructure, and data platforms.
• Perform security architecture reviews and provide design recommendations to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify security risks and define appropriate mitigations.
• Develop and maintain security reference architectures, design patterns, standards, and architectural guardrails.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to integrate security-by-design principles into projects and platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance for Zero Trust initiatives, identity security, cloud security, data protection, and secure application development.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend security controls that align with organizational risk tolerance.
• Support security governance and compliance initiatives aligned with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, SOX, and cloud security governance frameworks.
