One of our leading live entertainment companies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collection Specialist to join our finance team. The Collection Specialist will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to maintaining positive client relationships.
Collection Specialist Responsibilities:
- Review, create, and submit all new invoices, including supporting documents and purchase orders (POs)
- Submit address book requests for new sponsorship deals
- Create and apply credit memos due to changes in deals or billing schedules
- Conduct sponsorship cash research and apply payments accordingly
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments
- Update Aging comments related to Sponsorship Balances (provided by Global Partnerships)

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in collections or accounts receivable management.
- Strong understanding of billing and collection processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
