Job Description
The Art Director helps concept, design, and produce social-first creative that brings the retail chain’s style come to life across fashion, beauty, and home. Reporting to the ACD (Art), the Art Director partners with writers, designers, and producers to craft modern, relevant, and aspirational visual worlds. They contribute to concept development, participate in on-set art direction, and ensure creative execution aligns with Walmart’s visual identity.
• Develop social-first concepts and visual storytelling
• Collaborate on design and execution of social content
• Support ACD and Creative Director in creating moodboards, decks, and shoot materials
• Participate in on-set art direction
• Partner with designers, editors, and motion artists
• Stay current on cultural, design, and social trends
• Flexible to work weekends for photoshoots

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of experience in art direction, design, or content creation (fashion, beauty, or home)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first creative and visual storytelling
• Understanding of social platforms, cultural trends, and influencer content
• Experience collaborating with photographers, stylists, and content creators
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Communications, or related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Microsoft Office
