Job Description

Insight Global is seeking 20 Care Review Processors to join the Utilization Management team to help with the influx of membership growth. To be successful in this role this individual must have experience in a customer service or administrative support role within the healthcare industry. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all information relating to patient care plans, treatment requests, diagnosis requests, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations are accurately recorded into the computer system for efficient care delivery. This is a fast-paced environment with an expectation of processing 40+ requests a day with a sharp eye to detail to ensure all information is accurately recorded and processed. Must be able to work a flexible working schedule: Shifts range from 5 AM PST 6 PM PST, Monday Saturday, OT, Rotating Weekend Shifts (1 of 6 Saturdays). The client will try scheduling PST candidates for PST and EST candidates for EST but there will be times when PST will have to work EST and vice versa.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative support role within the healthcare industry - Care Review, Care Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Patient Services, Utilization Review, Authorization, Eligibility, Claims, Member Services, Patient, Provider, Enrollment, Benefits, Billing
- Experience entering authorization requests and provider inquiries into the computer system.
- Experience reviewing authorization requests to ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded.
- Experience verifying status and/or updates to patient care plans, eligibility, and benefits.
- Must be able to process 40+ authorization requests per day.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to fulfill the first 2-weeks of training and first 3-months of the assignment without a day of absence.
- Must be able to work a flexible working schedule: Shifts range from 5 AM PST 6 PM PST, Monday Saturday, OT, Rotating Weekend Shifts (1 of 6 Saturdays)
