Job Description

A large gas and oil company in Long Beach, CA is looking for an Inventory Accountant to ensure the accuracy of store inventory. Their day to day includes but is not limited to:
- Reviewing daily reports
- Identifying variances
- Creating entries in the PNL
- Managing inventory data in the ERP system
- Performing root cause analysis
- Suggesting changes to inventory reporting process
- Assisting the loss prevention team with shrinkage and internal theft
Working with wholesalers to implement a two way match

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in accounting
3+ years of experience in inventory management/ inventory analysis/ retail analysis
Strong experience with Excel - pivot tables, v look ups, x look ups
Strong experience with ERP systems
Bachelor's Degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in the gas / oil industry
