Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a general manager to oversee a plant for a manufacturer in the food industry.
This location is scaling, and they are seeking a hands-on savvy
general manager to lead operations, drive profitability, and help fuel the next phase of growth.
As the General Manager you will oversee high level operations as well as strategic oversight with both the VP of Operations and VP of Quality Control reporting into you.
Responsibilities include plant operations, finance, compliance, and business development. You will need to analyze financial reports and manage budgets (COGS)
Salary Range: 185-225k

Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of senior leadership experience in pet or human food or in a related regulated manufacturing environment.
-Bachelor's Degree
-Success Managing Profit & Loss for businesses in the 30M-100M+ range)
-Strong background in financial reporting, forecasting, cost control, and EBITDA growth strategies.
- Deep understanding of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience in human food or animal nutrition manufacturing.
-Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
-Prior success in scaling operations to meet growing market demand.
-Experience in SAP, SAP Business One, ERP Batching software, BatchMaster or equivalent.
