Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Senior Data Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making across teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools, with experience in cloud data platforms (preferably GCP). The role requires the ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that support business growth. This is a hybrid role sitting in the clients Chennai, India location 3 days per week.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL expertise with hands‑on experience in PostgreSQL, including writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex queries
• Proven experience with database performance tuning, including indexing strategies, execution plans, and CPU/memory optimization
• Experience working with large‑scale datasets and data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with hands‑on use of BigQuery
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, data processing, scripting, and basic automation
• Prior Data Analyst experience with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
• Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Looker or comparable BI tools
