An educational institution is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join their team headquartered in Irvine, CA. The engineer will be serving as an architect for endpoint management within OIT, maintaining currency in related technologies, and providing expertise, advice, direction in areas of new and emerging platforms. This person will maintain security design and practices, in collaboration with and as a liaison to security staff. The candidate will also perform operational tasks such as systems installations, migrations, upgrades, patching and apply subject matter expertise in architecture and operations of endpoint management to OIT.
* 60% of the role is serving as an endpoint architect
* 25% will be operational management
* 10% is more applying subject matter expertise

7-10 years of experience as an Endpoint Engineer/Architect
7-10 years of Mobile Device Management specifically JAMF, BigFix, and Workspace experience
Experience with 2nd or 3rd tier level troubleshooting
Experience with Mac OS
Strong customer experience skills
