Job Description
A client in the retail/CPG industry is looking for someone to lead the design, development, and operation of scalable data platforms and pipelines. This role focuses on technical delivery, operational excellence, and team leadership, ensuring reliable, high-quality data solutions for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.
This position works in close partnership with Data Modeling and Data Governance teams, implementing data pipelines and solutions that adhere to enterprise-defined standards, models, and policies.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Scala), and Delta Lake
Deep expertise in:
o ETL/ELT pipeline design and orchestration
o Data warehousing and Lakehouse architecture
o Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong SQL and data modeling understanding
Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams
Experience supporting production-grade data platforms and operations
Strong understanding of engineering best practices and delivery frameworks
