An employer for a large retail marketing agency is looking for a REMOTE Data Analyst to join a team of 5-10+ members. This person will be part of the Data Governance team where they will be part of a transformation where they are implementing a data lake that will be pulling from various systems and building the data catalog. This person will help build the MS Data Catalog (MS Purview & Unity Catalog) and have knowledge on how to configure, set up the catalog, and store into the data. This person will be building a Catalog, implementing the data governance, and build reporting on the data pull(downstream).
* 50% implementation & managing the data catalog, building out the data catalog, etc.
* 30% setting up data steward & custodian
* 20% working with the business, understanding the requirements, and educate on the data catalog
**This role is 100% REMOTE - flexible in any time zone**
