Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join one of our Technology Services clients and sit fully remote. This individual will serve as the central product owner across a multi-workstream Data Modernization initiative focused on building a clean, governed data foundation for the organization’s commercial systems. This role is heavily data-focused, owning the product backlog, release cadence, and day-to-day execution for initiatives including CRM data cleanup, master data management (Customer & Product/SKU), governance enforcement, and data quality standards. The Senior Product Owner will define what “clean” and usable data looks like, establish requirements and acceptance criteria for data quality, and ensure all downstream systems are built on reliable, governed data. This resource will partner closely with an external NetSuite delivery partner, holding them accountable for data quality outcomes while they handle system configuration. The Product Owner will also work cross-functionally with executive stakeholders (CEO, CFO, CRO, and technical leadership) to drive governance decisions, enforce system-of-record adoption, and align on milestones. Additionally, this individual will manage parallel workstreams such as Microsoft Fabric assessment/remediation and MDM implementation, while building and maintaining a data stewardship operating model (including governance councils, escalation paths, and enforcement mechanisms). This person must be comfortable operating both at a detailed execution level (writing data requirements, UAT for data quality) and at an executive level (presenting governance progress and driving change).

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience owning data products, data platforms, or data-layer initiatives (not just reporting/analytics products)
• Hands-on experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts (identity resolution, deduplication, golden records, hierarchy design, data quality rules)
• Proven ability to define and enforce data governance frameworks and stewardship models (including councils, escalation paths, and enforcement mechanisms)
• Experience owning data requirements, backlog, and acceptance criteria for enterprise data initiatives
• Experience working with external delivery partners/SIs and holding them accountable for data quality outcomes
• Ability to write UAT scripts focused on data completeness, accuracy, and consistency
• Experience driving change management in environments with poor data discipline (enforcing system-of-record usage, eliminating shadow tools, mandating data entry processes)
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to and influencing executive leadership (C-suite)
• Ability to translate data rules and governance into clear business impact for non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working with NetSuite CRM (accounts, opportunities, product catalog)
• Experience with MDM tools/platforms (Informatica, SAP MDG, Microsoft Purview, Stibo, Semarchy, Talend, etc.)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Purview
• Experience connecting upstream data governance to downstream use cases (pricing, renewals, analytics)
• Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs with shared dependencies (RAID logs, SteerCo cadence)
• Background in technology services, IT distribution, or channel sales environments
• Experience with customer identity resolution tools or datasets (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet)

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
