Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise in electromechanical product development, electronics packaging, and mechanical integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing electronic enclosures, integrating cables and interconnects, and developing products utilizing injection molded plastics, die castings, overmolds, machined components, and extrusion-based designs. This engineer should understand the full product development lifecycle and be comfortable balancing mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and integration requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

-10+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and product development.
-Strong background in electromechanical system design and mechanical integration of electronic products.
-Experience designing electronic enclosures and packaging solutions for embedded electronics and hardware systems.
-Expertise in plastic and metal component design, including:
--Injection molding
--Die casting
--Overmolding
--Machining
--Extrusions

-Experience designing and integrating:
--Cable assemblies
--Harnesses
--Connectors
--Interconnect systems
-Expertise in GD&T and tolerance analysis.
-Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
-Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo/Pro-E, or similar platforms.
-Experience supporting products through prototype, validation, and production phases.
-Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
