One of Insight Globals customers is looking to onboard an Integrations Cloud Engineer to their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful deployment and integration of cloud-native solutions, with a focus on Kafka and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud-native deployments, Kubernetes, and Kafka, and will be comfortable troubleshooting and configuring systems to ensure reliability and performance. They will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable integrations through the Kubernetes platform and managing and optimizing Kafka deployments, including Apache Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams. This is a 6 month contract opportunity working remote Pacific Time in LATAM.

5+ years of experience as a Integrations Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or in a similar role
Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native deployment solutions for applications, databases, and streaming platforms.
Extensive experience designing, implementing, and getting integrations through the Kubernetes platform in a scalable manner
Experience with Kafka (Apache Kafka, Flink, Kafka Streams)
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to ensure configurations are correct.
