A large dental organization is seeking a Field Services Technician to join their team and be located in either Missouri or Kansas, preferably close to O'Fallon, MO but not required. This individual will be providing technical support and resolution to the onsite dental office and traveling to support 38 other locations in Missouri and Kansas. Typical schedule is traveling Sunday evening to in state or out of state dental location, then working Monday-Thursday 4pm-12am. Responsibilities include:
1. Perform on-site servicing, repair and/or installation of hardware and software throughout assigned region.
2. Assist customers to diagnose problems and provide resolutions for technical and service issues including end-user local-area network access problems, e-mail, Internet, and network or local printer problems.
3. Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution with remote desktop tools, telephone, and in- person.
4. Diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop hardware issues.
5. Under minimal supervision, install new IT and related equipment for new offices.
6. Help coordinate timely support and repair on various IT equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
7. Manage help tickets assigned, ensuring maximum issue resolution in minimum time with the end user the main focus.
8. Perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to routinely upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions.
This position is expected to be traveling weekly.

5+ years' experience in an IT environment with excellent troubleshooting skills and networking software and hardware problems.
Possess a valid driver's license
Familiarity with Citrix, server patching, and Windows
Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least two-year college level course work.
3+ years experience in a Field Technician position
3 + years' experience in networking including: setting up wireless access points, setting up cabling Layer 1, troubleshooting, termination skills, knowing cable types, connecting routers and switches
Experience setting up PCs and monitors
Experience mounting servers on rack and adding printer drivers to the server
Experience using crimpers and punch down tools - terminating the ends of the network cables RJ11 and RJ45 (Cat 5 or Cat 6)
Very comfortable operating independently, eager to learn, and polished mannerisms
MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), A+, or Network + Certification
3-4 years of experience providing end-user phone or hands on support
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
EPIC and/or healthcare experience
